Lead Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive relationships with students, families and their teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide and focus on outdoor learning and garden stewardship / and implement nature-focused curriculum.
Substitute
Substitutes are responsible for carrying out planned cohesive curriculum, working mentors and the teaching team, c, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide and focus on outdoor learning and garden stewardship / and implement nature-focused curriculum. Must follow DCF protocol and continue their educational and professional development plan.
